We promote Officer Wellness and mitigate moral injury

The PROBLEM

Hypervigilance is a two edged sword.  It is needed to be an effective Officer.  But, it also creates internal toxicity due to overuse and lack of healthy boundaries.


The Problem: 'Unhealthiness'


  1. Toxicity of the Job – the things they see and hear torments their soul and morality.
  2. Officers tend to have a feeling of distrust of people.
  3. Greatest

The Problem: 'Unhealthiness'


  1. Toxicity of the Job – the things they see and hear torments their soul and morality.
  2. Officers tend to have a feeling of distrust of people.
  3. Greatest stressor in an Officer's life is office politics.
  4. The Grasshopper Complex – low self-esteem and identity contamination due to years of being on the job.
  5. The lack of reminders and repetition concerning the importance of staying WELL.

  The GAP is simple – identifying mental health and moral injury issues and then seeking the right help with the right resources


The GAP: 'Taking the right actions on a daily basis'


  1. Problems just simply, will not fix themselves
  2. Everyone needs reminders and repetition to stay healthy and well
  3. Help eliminate the stigma* of acknowledging and get

  The GAP is simple – identifying mental health and moral injury issues and then seeking the right help with the right resources

We provide an ONGOING supporting and mentoring presence in the lives of Officers as Wellness Chaplains.


Why we are 'clearly different'!


  1. We interact with Officers in all levels of the department.
  2. We do regular scheduled ride-outs in every division throughout the year.
  3. We are Proactive, Intentional, and Relational.
  4. We provide an ONGOING Presence

We provide an ONGOING supporting and mentoring presence in the lives of Officers as Wellness Chaplains.
